MEDIA: Recent TV and print features

The Americas Trade & Commerce Center (TAC) management team recently hosted Gabriela Rico, senior reporter for the Arizona Daily Star newspapers, for a tour of the building and interview with the project partners.  This feature was a part of the newspaper’s ongoing and popular Doing Business in Sonora series which debuted earlier this month.

You can read the article which appeared in the Business section on the 29th by clicking here.  We thank the Star,  its editors and reporters for their interest in our project.

This week we also received a visit from Telemundo/Arizona (KHRR TV), looking to feature how the TAC provides a first-class, secure environment in which to conduct border-related business.  Lourdes Jeong, a partner in the project, was interviewed for several minutes in this special segment which aired during their 5 PM News (Noticieros) program on Monday.  To learn more,  please click here.

Special thanks to Telemundo reporter Oscar Gomez and his crew for their efforts.

We have also received the interest and support of local government/business partnerships helping to build trade along the border.  The Bisbee-based Southeastern Arizona Governors’ Organization (SEAGO) is one such group.  They will be hosting their International Trade Summit & Expo at the neighboring Americana Hotel on Friday, November 9.  More than 150 guests from neighboring states are expected to attend the educational and networking sessions that begin on the 8th.

TAC — which is located just up the road from the Hotel — will be having a table at the event expo with building specs and leasing information for the new Executive Suites.  Tours of the project are also planned post-event.   You can read more about this event and others (including  the TAC story) in their recent Newsletter by clicking here.   Our thanks to Akos Kovach and the SEAGO staff for their support.

Last, but certainly not least,  we appreciate the support of and coverage from our own local publications:  the award-winning Nogales International newspaper (Wick Communications) and Border ECO magazine!
